Identity

Skechers x: Artist Collaborations

/ About the project

This is a collection of high-energy motion work for some of the biggest names in music and art. I led the motion identity for global launches featuring The Rolling Stones, Snoop Dogg, Vexx, and Ricardo Cavolo. My goal was to take these very different artistic voices and give them a rhythmic, digital life that felt authentic to the talent while hitting the high-volume needs of a global brand.

Adapting Artist Aesthetics for Motion

Every artist comes with their own world. I spent time figuring out how to make motion feel like it belonged to them. For the Rolling Stones, that meant grit and rhythmic cuts that felt like rock and roll. For Snoop Dogg, it was about a smooth West Coast flow. When it came to the illustrators like Ricardo Cavolo, I focused on fluid animations that made his hand-drawn work feel like it was breathing.

From Screen to Store

The Vexx Collaboration

The Vexx project was a unique turning point. I originally designed these motion pieces for social media, but the creative was received so well by the brand that we ended up reversing the traditional pipeline. I worked on converting my digital motion designs into high-resolution print assets. These became the physical "Retail Theatre" elements used in NYC in-store events, and online banners proving that a good idea can start on a timeline and end up on a wall.

Motion that Scales

Social content moves fast so the production has to be smart. I built these projects to be modular and platform-agnostic. This allowed us to pivot between 9:16 and 16:9 layouts without losing the focal point of the art. It wasn't just about making one cool video. It was about creating a kit of parts that ensured a premium feel across every platform from TikTok to global OOH displays.
